House Values
In Barton we stress putting our values into practice.

Our first value is Accountability.
We implement this in our House by
sharing prayer requests,
meeting with each other individually and
challenging each other.

We create a Transparent and Honest
atmosphere by getting to know each other in comfortable settingscboth in small group and the social activities we engage in.
We also believe that by having leaders
in the House that model this transparency in their lives, the members will learn from their example.

Servanthood is an important value in the House of Barton, we make this happen by organizing and
preparing dinners for other Houses,
praying for the other Houses,
coming along side them when a need arises,
and serving those within our House as well.

In the House of Barton Unity is a value we seek to implement within our walls.
It is important that we work as a
team and thebody of Christ.
Conflict resolution, forgiveness and a caring heart are fostered in order to achieve this.

We also value Loyalty to our House
as well as to our Lord.
Barton seeks to encourage each other, create a curiosity in finding answers and a willingness to learn.

Humility is a value that we believe is important for our House to achieve.
Not only does our Father ask us to strive for the goals but He asks us to walk humbly before him. It is important for us in Barton to encourage one another and give the Lord the glory He deserves.
